Apple barrel paint is my favorite! It is very inexpensive and available in many vibrant colors. I used this selection from Amazon which has a bit of each color.
I love this color variation because it has all the primary colors, plus there are lighter and darker shades of each color. It makes drawing and blending sparkle with this 18 2oz pack . Apple color stem.
Materials needed to make Ink Glue for Checkered Apple Barrel:
Step 1: Open the painting
Start by opening all the Apple Barrel colors you want to use... or mix some of them in the palette.
Step 2 - Ink Labels
Draw the desired design on the glossy surface of the self-adhesive paper. The glossy surface makes the drawing very distracting. This is an amazing effect!
If you want a darker finish, let the paint dry and then repaint.
While you are drawing the flower, make a large ink blot in the shape of a "C" in a circle. This forms the petals. Then add some lighter and darker paint. Color the leaves and add some paint, in this case yellow, to the center of the flower.
Keep painting flowers, calligraphy, a rainbow, or whatever your heart desires, until the sticker is complete. Leave approximately 1/4 inch between image templates.
Once you've filled out the entire sticky page, set it aside to dry and finish the rest! Create a colorful rainbow with bows and layered stitches.
This rainbow is very beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. Use the tip of a round stitch stick if you like. Then let the paint dry completely.
Step 3: Mod Podge
When the paint is completely dry, apply a thin coat of Mod Podge Matte Coat to the image. This will make them resistant to staining and light scattering. Let the Mod Podge dry completely.
Step 4: Cut the sticker
Now cut off all the glue with scissors. Leave about 1/8 of the border of the white contact paper around the drawn image.
This!
Now these everyone's favorite stickers are ready to find a home in a water bottle, notepad, journal, folder, folder or even get lost as a school gift!
