Step 1: Mark the photo

Start by cutting out a piece of paper the size of one eraser.

Then use the Fudenosuke brush to write “happy” in your favorite calligraphy style. If you are new to handwriting, Tombow offers free worksheets to get you started.

Then turn the paper over and fill in the inscription with a pencil.

Then turn the paper over and fill in the whole word with a pencil.

Place the paper on the eraser so that it touches the side of the pen with which you draw the eraser. Then circle the inscription with a pencil. Press hard to move the graphite pencil. Do not press too hard to indent the eraser.

Remove the paper and look at the remaining graphite.

Then use the permanent MONO Twin marker to draw an inverted image of the word "happy" on the MONO eraser.

Step 2: Form a stamp

MONO erasers are ready for cutting. If you’ve never done something like this before, it can be tricky. The MONO Eraser needs to be removed by about 1/8 inch, leaving black inscriptions in the raised ones.

Start with the smallest thread and circle the written word. Move slowly and carefully, one wrong turn and it will appear on the stamped image.

Use a knife to get to hard-to-reach places (such as loops Y, PP, A and H).

If you like sculpting, use Power Mini masking tape to stick the MONO eraser on a clear stamping plate.

Step 3: Paint the formed seal

Use the side of the pen with a double-sided brush to apply the ink to the surface of the stamp.

Print the image on a sheet of paper and note if there are more areas to cut.

Step 4: Create happy cards

The engraved seal is ready to use! Make a whole bunch of greeting cards to have on hand all year round. Use a double ink brush. Apply a pad on a damp cloth or baby wipes. Mark a line on 4 x 5.25 inch paper.

Use the monogram to write a spell. This cute stamp can be used for many beautiful things!

Then cut a piece of cardboard of standard size in half. Fold it to get the perfect card. Use the Tombow Power mini tape to stick the happy side to the card.
