How to change the color of watercolor!
Find out how to create your own color-changing watercolor. Color change water color awesome! They can be expensive and hard to obtain ... I know, I've tried!
I thought the best way to get what I wanted was to do it myself. Hard to find a great DIY watercolor tutorial, so this tutorial is my gift for you! This tutorial contains all the tips and techniques, materials and process for creating your own homemade watercolor.
All right, let me be honest.
Watercolor is a process of making home paint. This is not what I want to do business.
I sold some games over the holidays to offset my costs, but I have no plans to sell any more.
Color-changing ink looks different from black on white paper. The white paper gives it a light pastel glossy effect. It is ideal to put in other projects to add the most beautiful sparkle.
On the black surface, watercolors are transformed into bright metals! The colors change and dance as you move the paper in the sunlight. Every color I've created is my favorite! I mentioned them all and I love to draw them.

Add supplies to water color your own home! It's a layer of options ... especially if you choose a one liter container of Arabic glue, which is the cheapest option.
Maybe you want to start your own watercolor business. Of course not, but I like to cover my expenses through sales.
Step 1: Water color base
Start by creating a watercolor base. Pour 1 cup of water into the measuring cup ... not hot, hot. Slowly add 1/2 cup Arabic gum. Beat lightly to mix the lobster. Stir until all the mixture is gone. (If you still have gallbladder, you can drive through cheesecloth, but I have no problem with gallbladder)
Then add 1/5 cup honey and mix until smooth. Add 6 drops of clove oil as a preservative and it gives a nice smell!
Now the water color base is ready. If you do not use it now, you can refrigerate it for up to 2 weeks.
Step 2: Mix the watercolor
Now configure your workstation. You will need a large glass cutting board. I only make one tablespoon of pigment at a time, so I use the glass cutting board listed on the stock list. If you are going to mass produce them you will need a lot more space.
Pour 1 tablespoon powder pigment on a cutting board. What does it look like to see golden shiny purple? The magic of this color change!
This amount fills 4 halves of the pot for the first mixture.
Then pour the pigment with a teaspoon of watercolor base like puree sauce.
Then use a putty knife / spatula to lightly mix the pigment in the base. You will see that there are small powders in the mixture. I used this spatula from the dollar store and it broke in half. You will want a metal for this amount of mixture.
After mixing, you may need to add more watercolor base. The consistency should be warm, dense but like flowing honey.
Here you will need a muller. I use a shot glass with a flat bottom ... so check out your local thrift store to find the perfect shot that works exactly the same way.
Press the muller into the watercolor mixture and mix. Glass to glass will break the base fabric and there will be no blemishes when you paint.
Now take the water color mixed with a spatula and pour it in a plastic mold. Then set aside for a few weeks to dry.
As it dries, the water evaporates, leaving a thick layer of watercolor. But at the moment, it's only half full. This is where the long process begins.
Now repeat the mixing and filling and set aside. The filling process will probably require 3 or 4 fillings to maintain a sufficient height in the bowl. I'm not perfect ... there are air bubbles here and there.
After the watercolor dries, you can add one or two drops of water and start painting, writing, calligraphy, watercolor painting or highlighting.
I love the shine of metal change! Which color combination do you like best?
I mention them personally because that's what I like to do!
Start from top left to left:
Oceans, Ice Crystals, Hibiscus, Caribbean Islands, Orchids, Pearls, Corals, Fortune Dragons, Rose, Mermaid, Lilac, Pegasus, Gold, Tinplate, Sea Witch, Copper, Pearl and Orchid ... Yes, Orchids are big and free. Compared to other colors.
I made 6 more colors and you can see them here and there that I sell.
And here black and white paper shows 21 colors together. My favorite color is definitely the Caribbean!
Some colors have a beautiful golden hue!
Step 3: Packing
After the paint has dried, you can attach a magnetic adhesive strip to the base of the mold. This will keep them on the sofa without moving.
If desired, wrap the watercolor trays in wrapping paper.
Now they are ready to give, sell or just have fun!
There are many results that I can paint my own water. There was a lot of time, patience, waiting and initial costs ... but it was fun. Do you think that you should try to create your own watercolor?
I love the difference between using black and white paper! Pigments only glow on black paper.
