Fashion Haul
Hello! I hope you are well.
Summer is passing very fast, and I have not done half of what I have planned yet. I'm busy 24/7: I do not have much time to play with my dolls. As I told you in one of my last posts, Mr. This year ես Monster and I are going home, probably in November or December. However, we do need to fix some things at home before moving, so we regularly send messages և meet with the contractor to make final decisions. It's quite stressful, but I'm glad our new home will be beautiful. I'm very excited because I have more storage space in my doll / craft room.
I have many ideas about the blog, I already know that I will not be able to write until next semester. I have a list on my computer where I write down all my thoughts, draw them when I write a message. I have long wanted to make a corner room / diorama, but I have to wait until I move to have more time և space. As I continue to buy pop music during my quiet blogging period, I have a lot to share. I have something for so long that I am already ashamed. So I want to focus on some of those things. However, since I do not want to look like a general overview, I would like to add something else to the post, like a quick tutorial or a new story. Something quick, easy! And as I try to take more pop photos, I will also focus on sharing my ideas with you to see how I progress. I would like to hear your opinion և ideas, I would like to hear from you.
In addition to dolls, I need to open some Barbie fashion packages. In Spain they are quite expensive compared to the USA, the quality is incredible. Also, I've not seen fashion bags in stores lately, the only place I've seen them is Amazon ... half the US price. A little bit. In any case, at least I did not go down without explaining myself first.
I also got this boho suit. I got this mainly because I liked the light jacket.
Finally, I have some of these unique packages. You do not know why I have two shoes.
Since the packaging is relatively old, this will not be a complete overview, but a post like a photo series. I also have something new for my photos, so I have a great excuse to post them.
Let's start with the Phyllis package (do those luxury packages have a name?). I thought some bright colors would suit dark-skinned dolls like Ashan և XOXO (now called Christie).
I know this fashion's packaging is for the original body, և Christine has a long body, but I still think it looks good. By the way, I do not know about you, but I have not seen fashionable suits for the new body in any store or Amazon, not even in shoe packs.
A few days ago I received new sheets of cardboard for a popular photo, I thought this purple would suit Christie. I thought it was a nice color, somewhere between pink and purple, but in front of the camera, it does not look like that. It seems to me more understandable that I already have them, although personally they are completely different.
In this full photo of Christie you can see how good she is in this outfit. She wears Sweetheart Stripes shoes because the long and bloody Barbie dolls have big legs. I know they made shoes, but they did not succeed.
I decided to bring a chair to the film so that I could take a few different perspectives on Asha. It's not the best attitude to evaluate clothes, but I really like how it turned out.
I know this tutu was long before the movie "Panther", but it gives me the whole feeling of Shura with this shirt, this hairstyle.
I decided to bring Chloe և Drew with me for the next package. The costume style is not what I thought Drew was, but I wanted to take away his outfit. Wearing Barbie Fashionista Pink Pizzas shoes because I never had any shoes that would fit her.
For a while I wanted to use an LED flashlight for pop photography. I've seen them use My Froggy Stuff a few times in their dioramas, and recently Barb used one of his diaries. So I thought it might have an interesting effect on a flat background. Here is Chloe.
When they turn it on, their backs turn a little greener, but I do not think you will see it. I also wanted to see how they looked around the doll. Does it sound like a Christmas theme?
I bought turquoise with purple cardboard. It is completely different from the light blue I already had, but it is very similar to the camera.
I'm a little disappointed because they look so much alike. There were two shades of turquoise, և I deliberately chose darker because I felt that the light was too close to blue. In any case, I did not explain myself in advance.

And finally, Victoria (also known as LA Girl) goes from single elements to models. These items seem to be cheaper than 2 sets of clothes. The jeans skirt does not even have a print on the back, and the shirt is terribly sewn. It also looks very hairy on top of the doll, but I squeezed the extra fabric on the doll so you could not see it.
The quality is not so good, but I like the skirt, it looks very versatile. I want the same things in the back. They made me realize that I had to learn how to sew these trendy clothes. So I had a hard time finding shoes.
I have even more luxurious packages to open - a bunch of dolls, but I think that's enough for one place. I do not think I will do anything else. I have another prehistoric idea, but I also want to do a "retro look" to the Barbie's 90's play list. Let's see what I want to do next.
In addition to renovating my home, I've also focused on improving my Instagram account . I take notes regularly, almost every day. Not only do I post the photos you see here, but I also post some photos that are not included in the post, or some photos that I take specifically to post on Instagram.
Turning to Instagram, I recently met people who claim to be influential on various social media or use the hashtag #dollinfluencer, which I do not really associate with the world of dolls. I always associate this term with the fashion և beauty industry, but in reality it can be in any other field. In college, we had a few discussions on this topic, we discussed what makes a person really effective, what really works with them. Since the age range of the readers of this blog is quite wide, I would like to hear what some of you will say about this. What do you think about influential people? When did you buy a doll because of someone else's opinion or influence? The only time I bought a doll after reading someone's opinion was by Avea Trotter - it 's a review of The Toy Box Philosopher , but it also helped the doll sell. Say what you think so far.
A small note. Miss Leon wrote a beautiful post called "Dolls ". I found the 12 step program very interesting . I really encourage you to go see it.
It was quite difficult for me today. I'm looking forward to a wonderful summer և I'm looking forward to writing soon.
