Acrylic Pouring Abstract Painting on Organizer Caddy DIY
Abstract Acrylic Painting on Caddy Organizer DIY!
Have you ever tried acrylic modelling? It's a very fun and fashionable craft and perfect for beginners! Acrylic paint / painting is just like this: pour acrylic paint on the surface! This is a great way to create abstract works with the colors you want.
This food organizer is perfect for parties or getting things organized - great for wrapping up school supplies so your table is organized too! Pouring paint is a simple technique and doesn't require a lot of supplies to get started. Just try it, you will like it.
This post is sponsored by Plaid . Supply for this project from Target! Delta Ceramcoat uses acrylic paint and modern handcrafted wooden blanks.
I got this tool organizer and knew that spreading 3D ink would be a great way to complete it. Go to your next destination and see brightly colored wooden surfaces and a fun color collection!
Here's a quick process so you can see the strategy! Try it, it's easier than you think!
Required material:
Modern organizer for handmade food (on target)Acrylic Paint for Crafts Delta Ceramcoat (Target)
Stick to a 5-ounce paper cup with a grain of water
I chose colors that resemble the beach and the sea. I just never feel embarrassed about tea and the blues. Choose a paint color that you like. Which color would you choose?
color mix:
First, pour some ink into a paper cup. The surface of the wooden tool trolley is small, so you don't need too much paint for this project. Mix green with blue to get a dark blue color. I used more shades of blue than green or peach.Put some water in a paper cup. This is not an exact science. Mix the paint with water until it comes out of the wand to get a "warm honey" consistency. If it's too runny, it won't stick to the wood. If it's too dense, it won't move after spreading.
Drop it from the stick into the cup to check how thick the paint is. It's better to be a little more liquid, not too thick. I think I added as much water to the paint as I poured the paint into the mug.
Once all the colors are mixed to the right consistency, it's time to pour! Acrylic casting is fluid and random. Don't immerse yourself in perfection...it's a wild, light-hearted, and awesome way of expressing yourself. If you didn't like the result, you can scratch it and do it again!
Acrylic bar:
Start with a clean paper cup. Then pour the acrylic paint into the jar in the shape of a “half eye”. That doesn't have to be true. Just add these and some of them!Once all the paint has been poured into the mug, throw it in the wooden cart. Make sure there is a dot on the bottom of the paper as it will fall off the edges.
Next, grab the carriage and rotate it back and forth so the paint sticks to the edge.
Use the booster to add extra color to the basket. I went and added some more peaches and bright greens. Repeat the side process to make them appear intentionally drawn.
Touch an empty space with a moving stick. Then set the basket on a couple of empty cups to dry.
Let the car dry overnight or several days. Thick layers of paint should dry slowly or they will crack, so don't overheat them and try to dry quickly.
Once dry you can close it with a clean acrylic cap and then fill it with pots, napkins, straws and organize a party. Or load it with a pen, pencil, marker, marker and calculator and use it on the desk to keep school supplies in order.
Hey!
Like, pin and share!
Now I want to pour everything!
Floral acrylic paint on a tray - if you try this there is no edge to spray off excess paint... so have a piece of plastic ready and clean any scraps of glass after you pour it into the tray.
Stained glass marble square color (actually this is the exact shade I used to make this pendant)
Apply rainbow paint (this canvas is slightly curved... so use MDF or a piece of stretched canvas)
