Here are ten cricket ideas for making money for the holidays. Making money is the theme of the last quarter of the year, right? Maybe to spend the money... but I like to do both.
It's a great time to start thinking about a business... how can you earn extra money outside the home? Maybe you're sponsoring a fun trip, giving away a lavish gift, or just getting an extra month. It's not too late to start processing items for holiday sales.

People love personalized and personalized stuff. If you're looking to customize something, this is a great place to explore. I mainly focus on projects that have little more than a general feeling… things that everyone can relate to. Decide how much time and effort you want to put into your product and start there. This Cricut Business post even includes a formula to help you decide how much money to charge for the product.
Here's a good formula:
Material cost + $15-20 per hour for time spent
It mainly depends on what you think is worth your time. Some items cost almost nothing and take almost no time to make. Be creative and find a price that works for you. A price that makes you dizzy while working.
MOFIMI: If you're bored with a project when it's finished, you're NOT paying enough money for it. Double the other price.
The next thing to consider is the sales platform. Do you sell it online? You have to send them Do you set up a kiosk in a shop or do the spoken word or local? All of these things will make a difference when deciding what to sell.

1. cup
Glasses and water bottles are in fashion. Make a personalized mug with a name or keep it generic with a single phrase and sell it for a little extra cash this holiday season. Perfect for stocking stuffers, gifts for teachers, gifts from friends and neighbors, or for the whole family.
Priced around $20 per customization for a fair markup.
This project uses only standard cut edges and self-adhesive vinyl. This is a project a Cricut mower can handle. This is a great personal item that everyone will love.
Adding custom vinyl to a jar is great... but adding shine and resin is even more awesome! If you are an adventurer, give it a try!
Resin and high gloss lamps are much more labor intensive and can cost around $25-$35 higher.
2. Door window
Custom door skins are a great way to make money if you don't have to ship your own product. I don't even know how I'm going to ship this heavy rug... but they're having a huge local sale. Add a custom name or create a generic name for easy selling.
The bed pellets I found at Walmart for $6 each make a pretty good profit margin when you sell them for $20-25.
All you need is freezer paper for the perfect template, get cheap freezer paper here!
3. Shirt
Iron shirts are a perfect money making cricket craft that doesn't require a lot of extra supplies. Only shirts, irons, Cricut trimmers and Cricut EasyPress. Everyone loves a personalized t-shirt. Great technique for suits, bags, pillowcases and more!
The price of a T-shirt ranges from $18 to $30, depending on the amount of vinyl, the type of t-shirt, and the business being made.
The smooth finish of the waterproof ink shirt is amazing! It is machine washable and will never spill or pill. This is a cool t-shirt that people can make themselves! Must be 100% polyester for best results with infusible inks.
The price of infusible ink shirts is definitely more expensive than iron-on shirts because of the materials used. Anywhere between $20 and $40.

Get generic socks and add a personal touch. Use Iron Vinyl with EasyPress (I'll use Mini) and adjust for expensive products.
Personalized socks can cost between $10 and $18 each. Make sure the storage base you are using is included in the price.
5. Ornament
Decorating is a great way to earn money during the holidays. They can easily be personalized or be generic for a Christmas tree. “Our first Christmas”, “Congratulations and get married 2021” and “Our first home” are good general greetings.
Acrylic ornaments should be priced the same as key chains, but perhaps slightly higher due to the perceived value. About $3-12 each.
Customize the toppers too! Just clean some vinyl and stick it to the front of the plastic liner. This gem is very cheap, so it is an economical and profitable product!
They cost around $5-12 each.
Add a face, name, or vinyl sticker to the layered top for a keepsake or homemade gift.
The vinyl is beautiful but the weeding process is complicated. It's amazing and makes a great homemade gift. It can serve as a "First Christmas" reminder for newlywed couples.
It's a hassle to clean but a great seller.
The price for a bunch of them together is around $9-20 depending on size.
6. Keychain
The Creek Creator makes acrylic carving fun! These make great key chains, zipper pulls, Christmas tree decorations, or even jewelry. Cricut Maker is the only family of machines that can use Engraving Tools.
Acrylic keychains make great gifts or gift tags! Special keys have to be more expensive, while public keys are cheaper. I estimate them between $3 and $5 each.

Specialty dishwashers that can be cleaned in the dishwasher and microwave are great! This is a huge selling point for customers, we all want to throw our dishes in the dishwasher and microwave... without a doubt. Prices for these glasses are estimated to range from $15 to $25, depending on the details.

If you don't have a Cricut mug press machine, you can still use Infusion Ink to make amazing custom mugs! A few supplies and an oven will do!
8. Vinyl statement/bumper stickers
Vinyl is one of the cheapest materials to work with (after paper) and can be the quickest and easiest way to make money.
When I first got my trimmer, I created a custom label. They took a set of 6 labels and sold them for $12. I did more than pay off my first car in just a few months.
So making bumper stickers, water bottle labels, murals, or other pieces of vinyl is the perfect way to make vacation money!
Plus, they are EASY and cheap to transport! They really are the best way to earn extra money during the holidays!
Vinyl prices are based on the amount of vinyl used plus time. 3x4 glue costs around $1-5. (I sold a set of 6 for $12)

9. Wood Vinyl Panels
Use scrap wood and vinyl to make holiday decor, seasonal decor, or just a fairy tale home decor…perhaps a bit of color. Make decorative blocks to put on shelves or funny words to hang in the bathroom. These can be prepared in bulk and ahead of time for peace of mind during the holiday frenzy.

10. Earrings/Jewelry
Jewelry is a great stocking filler, easy to wear and very attractive as the perfect gift. The price of the earrings is based on the cost of the materials and the time it takes to make them. Cricket really makes this easy, so it's easy to make several sets with the same pattern and sell them all or keep one for yourself!
The price range should be between $5 and $20 depending on difficulty and materials. Using leather will add extra wear to your carpet, so that should be taken into account as well.
