After you've gone through all the fun projects, the paint needs to dry, right?
The paint does not dry for long, but this does not even count as 5 minutes of work. Go wash the dishes, paint your nails, or watch an episode of your favorite show. Then return to the dry pumpkin.
Step 2: Drain
Now cut off a small branch to make a perfect stem. Glue the warm stem over the cut wooden gourd.
If you don't want to use a branch, wrap a small brown scarf around it and make a stem.
Step 3: Leaves
Now cut out some green felt leaves. These leaves don't really look like pumpkin leaves, but they are just as cute.
Fold the pipe cleaner in half. Then glue the top of the hot pipe cleaner to the felt sheets.
Repeat the hot glue process for both sheets.
Step 4: Rotate
Rotate the tube cleaner and rotate the leaves for a little visual detail.
This is!
You are now ready to tie it to a cape, tie it to a wreath, or paint Jack O'Lantern's face on it. Perfect for all fall!
Take it one step further by repeating the process on the back of the woodcut and paint a face on one side for Halloween and a glowing orange pumpkin for fall.
