Step 1: Paste

Use hot glue to attach each small ornament to the bottom of the tray.

Keep filling the holes with pieces. The cubes are on top of my tray and use a lot of resin to cover all the pieces...so plan accordingly and choose flat objects.

At that point, I ran out of pieces...so I quit. There's still room for more, so fill in what you want.

The second step: the resin

Now mix 8 ounces of resin according to the directions on the two-step package. Mix one part resin and one part hardener and stir for two full minutes.

Then pour the resin into the second mixing cup and use a new stir stick to stir the resin for a full minute. This mixing process is very important for the correct processing of the resin.

Then pour the mixed resin over the surface of the bucket. The resin is self-leveling so it moves around the tray, filling in gaps, holes and small spots in the trinkets.

So start with 8 ounces of resin to give her the time she needs to fill up.

After 20 minutes, use a heat gun or small torch to remove any bubbles that form.

Then leave the pan covered overnight. Covering it will keep dust, lint, and even flies out. Of course, adding flies to your Yo Veo tray would be a lot of fun.

After allowing the resin to cure overnight, mix and add another 8 ounces of resin to the coating. Resin-filled cups add weight to the tray, so keep that in mind as well. Keep adding this resin and leave it on overnight until you are happy with a smooth painted finish.

Then stick the stickers with the objects that the children can see when they look at the storage compartment. Makes a great handmade gift!
