How to Make a Vintage Button Heart Frame
How does a vintage heart button frame work!
Find out how an old button heart works in a decorative frame. Remove old grapes from cookie jars and use them to make beautiful decorations for your home. Collect some items from home or go to the dollar store to find the items needed for this craft.
Great handmade gift, valentine's day or year-round decoration, it can also be made as a craft for kids!
I love the combination of old and new. Rustic and polished. These polar opposites form complete pairs. This is classic and adorable button art...made of rustic canvas and gold frame!
It's easy to make and can you believe it only takes 15 minutes!?
The quick craft is my favourite. A few suggestions and a little time will make it the perfect decoration for Valentine's Day or any day of the week. We could all use more love in our lives, right? This heart is complete.
Personalize this heart as you wish. Attach the keys to the clothes of the deceased and make a small decoration for family members.
Use Grandpa's collection of vintage buttons and antique bezels to enhance the feel of heritage.

To start!
Vintage Heart Button Frame Accessories
antique frame (or similar)
plank to fit frame
jute to cover the board
keys
hot glue gun
First step: applause
Start by cutting a board 1/2 inch larger than the board on each side. Apply a little glue around the edges and bend the brush over it. Repeat for all four sides.
Cut the corners and glue them together to prevent cracking.
Place back into the clapboard frame.
Step 2, base button
Now it's ready to be filled with studs! I chose silver, gold, sequins and shiny buttons. But be creative! Rainbow color combinations, ombre, random old granny buttons - so many fun ideas!
First, paste some simple buttons to create a small step. Heart shaped hot glue. If you need instructions, use a simple pencil to draw the heart on the fabric.
I'm using buttons from an old military uniform...the color is very nice and goes well with the gills.
While my husband was in the army, he kept all the keys to his worn out uniform. Better bring me a vase full of these keys than a bouquet of flowers. I took it as the basis of my heart because there are so many and so boring ...
But I understand that it works because it's my heart, my foundation, my love...
Step 3: Favorite Buttons
Now fill in the blanks with the fan buttons. Apply a small amount of hot glue to the back or button and stick it in place.
Fill in the big and small buttons to create a round heart shape.
Add more buttons until the main buttons are gone.
Step 4: Colorful colored buttons
Then add some pop of color for fun! I have two pink keys.
nothing else!
Now it can be downloaded, stored and viewed at home! I love this shabby chic piece!
It also makes the perfect gift!
