How to make a rubber seal with your own hands.
What do you do to spend your summer days? If you are looking for a fun craft, carving your own stamp is a lot of fun. Make a stamp, use it in your magazine, mail it or allow your children to print paper. It’s a clever craft, but it will appeal to older children and teens.

Engraving stamps is a lot of fun. This requires some consumables, but is extremely effective with an internal reusable matrix.
Turn that rubber into a stamp.
Required material.
Eraser Tombo Mono Tombow MONO Twin: A set of knives for carving Speedball Tombow Fudenosuke brush hobby knife
Pen for drawing Tombow MONO Tombow Power mini tape Clean the stamp unit

Step 1. Print the image
Start by cutting out a piece of plain rubber paper.
Then with a Fudenosuke brush write “happy” in your favorite style. If you are new to
writing, Tombow has a free worksheet to help you get started.
Then turn the paper over and fill in the sheet with a pencil.
Then turn the paper over and fill in the whole word with a pencil.
Insert the paper by touching the eraser next to the handle above the eraser. Then circle the letter with a pencil. Press hard to turn the pencil into graphite. Do not press too hard to pull the rubber back.
Remove the paper and look at the rest of the graphite.
Then use the MONO Twin permanent marker to draw the opposite image of the word "happy" with the Mono eraser.
Step 2. Engrave the stamp
MONO rubber is ready for engraving. If you haven’t already, it can be tricky. The MONO tire needs to be shifted by about 1/8 inch, leaving the letter raised.
Start with the smallest end of the engraving և flip the word. Slowly և move carefully, this is the wrong knife և it will be visible in the printed image.
Use a knife to enter hard-to-reach places (eg Y, PP, A և H).
If you are happy with your engraving, use a mini-tape to attach the mono-rubber to a clean stamp.
Step 3. Paint the engraved stamp
To apply the ink to the surface of the stamp, use a double brush.
Print the image on a sheet of paper to see if there is room for another engraving.
Step 4. Create happy cards
The engraved stamp is ready to use. If necessary, bring a set of greeting cards throughout the year. Use a double ink brush. Cover the stamp with a damp cloth or baby wipe. Mark a line on 4 x 5.25 inch paper.

Then cut a piece of cardboard of standard size in half. Fold it for the perfect postcard. Use Tombo Power Mini Tape to attach the happy side to the card.
