How to Heat Foil a Harry Potter Card!
How to heat aluminum foil on a Harry Potter paper!
Chocolate a day keeps dementors away! Professor Remus Lupine has to be one of my favorite Harry Potter characters. "Eat, you'll feel better." This is my all-time favorite Harry Potter quote.
I made this fun postcard as the perfect complement to chocolate! Make great gifts for friends or hang prints in the kitchen as the perfect reminder of what's important.

Playing cards is a lot of fun. It takes some special tools, but it's worth the fun things you can make and decorate!
I drew this image on my iPad and would love to share it with you ... but I'm short on time. So if you want high resolution images, please email me at maildoodlecraft@gmail.com with the subject "DEMENTORS" and I'll send it to you.

Step 1: Print!
Start with laser printing 32-pound drawing paper. Laser toner is perfect for many craft businesses and is well worth the investment. Or take the image to a copy shop and print the page.
Step 2: noodles!
Now this piece isn't well illustrated, but it's easy. Take a sheet of plain paper and fold it in half. Unfold and place the laser-printed image on the folding side. Then place aluminum foil over the laser printed image with the shiny side of the aluminum foil facing up.
Then fold the paper and pass it through the heated laminator. One pass is enough for a perfect transfer of the glossy film.
Step 3: open the slide!
Then unfold the paper and remove the sheet with the laser printed image to reveal the sheen of the sheet with the ink!
Step 4: create a map!
Now use a knife around the edge of the paper to make it a little stiff. Then glue the image onto a piece of cardboard.
Flatten the edges of the cardboard and glue it to a sheet of patterned paper.
Then glue the assembled image onto the folded paper. She is ready to go in and tie a chocolate gift for a friend.
I'm practically Lupine!
