Giant Hand Dyed Coffee Filter Rose DIY
Handmade giant pink coffee filter
Bright giant flowers are popular! I am very allergic to real flowers so I can't find them at home. Instead, I make paper roses. This is my favorite! Make a giant coffee filter flower out of small objects, paint by hand. This huge paper flower is 16 inches square. This is perfect for a single bright flower ... or for creating a wall floral arrangement, for parties, weddings, giant flowers or other high-end events!
This amazing flower contains 115 hand-painted coffee filters with soft light layers.
Let me show you how an amazing flower filter works. If so, please post a doodlecraft tag for me. I want to lift my spirits!

Wax paper or plastic table
Step 1: Paint the coffee filters
Start by pouring 1/8 cup of water into a shallow bowl. Add half a teaspoon of food coloring. When more food dyes are used, the color becomes brighter. Mix the water and the dye.
Take 4-5 coffee filters, fold in four and go to the center.
Then soak the coffee filters in warm water. Coffee filters accept food dyes.
Then place the coffee filters on wax paper or on a plastic table cloth to dry. Repeat for different colors. Allow the coffee filter to dry completely ... about 8 hours or overnight.
Now the coffee filters are ready to be an amazing pink.
Step 2 - Make a coffee filter flower
Begin to build the rose from the center to the ends.Create center
Start by collecting yellow and orange flowers in 5 coffee filters, then cut in half.
Attach the edge and fold the center pack into a cone, keeping the tip on the twisted part of the coffee filter.
Choose pink flowers;
Now fold the rose leaves in 5 coffee filters and fold in half. Then place the center of the rose on the flower.
Folding and gluing the petals in the middle.
Repeat this process with another 5 coffee filters.
Then work together.
Repeat the process for the petals. The center becomes larger and larger, which causes the petals to rot in different ways. All you have to do is pin it on both sides, then fold it and plug it in on the other side.
It is wonderful to see the roses bloom! If you are working on a background, make roses of all sizes.
Dry different colors to increase the volume and contrast. Continue to wrap the petals around the rose.
I start with pink, red and orange and then finish with pink and green. Decide how you want your rose to look and voila!
Coffee filters in this rose love soft covers.
Build the flower petals on the old leaves until you are satisfied with the size. My rose is 16 inches square and about 6 inches long. I love her! Use 115 coffee filters.
Here is the reverse of the rose, you can see how the petals grow on the old ones.
It makes it easier to hang rose petals on the hook.
I like the water color of the flowers.
You do not like that! This is a work of 3D art!
Unfortunately, I ran out of coffee and could not cook. But I love how it is!
